About the service

At the Sonar Clinic sample collection point at ul. Gubińska 8A in Wrocław (Nowy Dwór estate) we take blood and other material for more than 180 laboratory tests, for children from birth and for adults. Tests are provided privately, without a referral; you can order them yourself or according to your doctor’s recommendations.

Every patient has a booked time, so there is no waiting in a queue. We organise visits so that children, seniors and pregnant women have no contact with people showing symptoms of infection.

Full blood count with differential PLN 18.50, fasting glucose PLN 14, lipid profile (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides) PLN 42, TSH PLN 32, creatinine PLN 16, ALT PLN 16, AST PLN 16, CRP PLN 26, ESR PLN 11, urinalysis with sediment PLN 19, vitamin D3 PLN 70, ferritin PLN 50, vitamin B12 PLN 55, glycated haemoglobin HbA1c PLN 55, total PSA PLN 44, CA 125 PLN 54.

A single collection fee is added to the price of the tests, regardless of their number or the patient’s age: PLN 11, including for newborns and children. The full list of more than 180 tests with prices is in the table below.

How to prepare and how to book

Many tests (glucose, lipid profile, insulin, iron) require fasting, i.e. 8–12 hours without food; you may drink water. A full blood count, TSH, vitamin D or CRP usually do not require fasting. Appointments are booked by phone on +48 880 018 703; please give the list of tests, and we will confirm the preparation, price and time. The tests are performed by Dolnośląskie Centrum Diagnostyki Laboratoryjnej Sp. z o.o. in Wrocław; the laboratory’s courier collects the samples from the clinic. After the sample is taken, you receive an individual code to view your results online; results can also be collected at the Sonar Clinic reception. Results are usually ready in the evening of the day of collection; for specialised tests, the person taking the sample will tell you the waiting time. You can discuss the result with a family doctor at Sonar Clinic or with your treating doctor.

Where to find us

The sample collection point is located at Sonar Clinic, ul. Gubińska 8A, Wrocław, on the Nowy Dwór estate (Fabryczna district), close to Muchobór Wielki and Kuźniki. The clinic is open Monday to Friday (current hours on the Contact page) and closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Samples are taken every week, usually on Thursday or Friday (children and adults), and for adults also on two Wednesdays a month. Collection takes place in the morning, by appointment only; one visit takes about 15 minutes. The exact day and time are agreed when you book by phone.

Sample collection fee

11 zł – a one-off fee, regardless of the number of tests and the patient’s age (including newborns and children)

For patients’ comfort and safety, we schedule visits so that people with symptoms of illness are not seen together with children, older people or pregnant women. Each patient is booked for a specific day and time, so that waiting is comfortable and the visit runs smoothly.

Do I need to fast before a blood draw?

It depends on the test — for many (e.g. glucose, lipid profile) fasting for about 8–12 hours is recommended. We confirm details at registration.

Do I need a referral?

No — laboratory tests are provided privately, without a referral.

Do you also draw blood from children?

Yes — we take blood from adults and from children of all ages, including newborns and infants. Every patient has a booked time.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes — visits are booked for a specific day and time, so you do not wait in a queue.
